This is an ideal beginner's workshop and will enable you to learn about the fundamentals of hand drumming and learn a fun West African rhythm pattern and song, and help you decide whether or not you would want to go further into the exploration of hand drumming and take one of Sherry's six weeks hand drum sessions! If you have always wanted to join in with percussion at drum circles or parties but felt hesitant for lack of understanding and knowledge about the instruments, this is a perfect workshop to attend and get your feet wet in a safe, supportive, and fun instructional circle! Come meet some other beginner drummers and learn about rhythm, hand technique, drum circle ettiquette and how to select a good quality hand drum perfect for you!
